Xbox 720: Rumor Roundup

The Xbox 720.  Or at least that's what it's being called for now.  The official codename coming out of Microsoft is "Project Durango".  The predecessor of the Xbox 360, the 720 has had a few rumors surrounding it, especially as of late.  The latest rumor has been surrounding a new controller for the 720.  Taking some credit from Nintendo, the rumor is that Microsoft has been experimenting with controllers with touchscreens integrated into the bodies.  That would not be surprising since the main competitior with the 720 will be the Wii U.  Now on to the specs.  One of the latest spec rumors coming out of the web is a Hex-core processor.  You read that right, a 6 CORE PROCESSOR.  That will provide an INSANE amount of power to the new console, allowing the limits of console gaming to be pushed to an all new high.  The 720 is also rumored to be powered by a latest-gen AMD dual graphics card, and 2gb of DDR3 RAM. Another rumor is a Blu-Ray disk drive, or quite possibly NO DISK DRIVE AT ALL.  Another rumor is that the 720 will not be able to play used games, which would be good for the companies producing the games, but not so good for the consumer.  For J & T Productions, this is Talon Lister, signing off.
